Looking for historical examples of mid-1960s fashion trends; having a hard time locating info.

Hello, hope this post is ok here, but I’m trying to research a few early to mid ’60s fashion trends I have heard about and find some examples of them. The first one comes from an artist I follow remembering his dad. He would wear Levi’s 501s with all the belt loops cut off, as well as one of the back pockets removed. I have seen the belt loops part before in various photos from that era, especially from the California hot rod scene, but I have yet to find some examples of the pack pocket.

The other interesting one is a trend I heard about from am old man at Kool April Nites car show back about 7 or 8 years ago. He told me in that part of California in the very early 60s the style was flat front slacks/chinos with a kind of intricately folded double cuff. You fold the cuff underneath to inside if the pants first, then roll the double material back over the normal way twice. The result is a kind of double-wall thin cuff. This is a pretty hard to one track examples down because it’s such a small detail, but maybe someone here has a dad or grandpa that was around that time and/or part of the country who could confirm some of this?
